He received his master&#8217;s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technological Institute of Orizaba with a specialization in Decision Analysis System, where he develops artificial intelligence applications to improve the processes of the agricultural supply chain.<\/p>\n<p>During his academic and professional training, he has participated in projects about technological innovation, applied research and services with the industry. Today, Mr. Hernandez-Gonzalez is an accredited person in decision quality, and he is certified by the Mexican Association of Logistics and Supply Chain A.C.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Hern\u00e1ndez-Gonz\u00e1lez has contributed to several publications in Journals, participation in seminars and international conferences such as the International Congress on Logistics and Supply Chain (CILOG). Smith is a PhD candidate in Management Science at the University of North Texas. He received his M.S. in international financial management from the University of Maryland in 2015. His research interests include optimization in complex and adaptive systems, network resiliency and strategic investments.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Smith is completing his dissertation on service supply chain resiliency. He has written research on the role of education in cybersecurity specialization. He has also presented research on the effect of economic elasticity on social resiliency and the role of state conditioning in Markov-Chain analysis on stochastic utility optimization.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Smith began his career as an intelligence analyst and Persian linguist in the United States Air Force.
